I'm read A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin, and Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson. I love them both!

Currently nomming my way through The Wheel of Time =) I started reading them ages ago, read book 1 to 10, but 11 wasn't out yet and by the time it was, I had forgotten too much and would've had to start over. Now that the final part came out in January, I can finally read all 14.5 (one prequel) all the way through <3 Can't wait to see how it ends!
I can't really explain what the books are about - way too complicated to give a short description - but it's basically about the war of good vs evil, in a medieval setting, with a very specific form of elemental magic that is separated between men and women (it's the first books I know of where male magic and female magic are completely different). All in all, there's something of 10.700 pages to read, so once you start, you'll have something to read for a while

Just finished rereading Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land." Just as good as the first time. In the middle of a new series, "Species Intervention #6609." Author J.K. Accinni seems to have a fatal vision for good old Earth. Nicely done for an indie.

I'm reading Lord of the Rings. About to finish "The Fellowship of the Ring" and should be starting "The Two Towers" tomorrow sometime. Tolkien is awesome!

I am rereading the Wheel of time!!! I read them a long time ago when they weren't finished. Now I'm on the last one and I'm delaying....I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters. I have shed a few tears lol! They have dominated more time than any other set of characters. I have formed a bond... I have been waiting for what feels like ten years. When I finish, what will I do??? It will take at least a week or two to move on to another series. Ugh. Sadness and anxious in Dallas.

I know what you mean! I call it a Book Hangover. It happens to me whenever I finish a really good book or series of books. I feel lost for a few days. Thankfully, there is always another book or series to take its place.

Finally getting around to A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin. I admit I didn't know much about them until Game of Thrones came out but it turned me on to what promises to be a good series
