    As i said above, i think we need to avoid speaking for other players, and 'forcing' their actions.

    I think you'd have been better leaving it at;

    Thadar looked at him. "Believe me, you're better off not knowing." He looked at his group. "C'mon. We're losing time."

    Then we can interact and say whether we're going with you.

    Always leave it at what you're saying and doing, and leave the other players to determine how they act.

    Cutting to new scenes needs to stay with Nikki i think. No?

    I'm confused as to how we're in a room full of so many people but were able to get to a secret doorway behind the throne. Did I miss everyone leaving the room?

    sorry, I'll edit that out. I kinda jumped to the conclusion that you would want to converse with the guard about details regarding the quest. I tend to do that sometimes, due to my past experience with RP-ing I've had.
    Normally, I'm doing this with my clan; so there's one story and you can post every 24 hrs, with over 20 people playing alongside you. We had the ok to do things like that since not everyone had ideas for what to do.
    Anyway, Just let me know when I do that and I'll change it.

    Yes, there is still a crowd, but the tunnel is ABOVE the throne. Thadar had to climb on top of the throne to press the button to open it.

    My only concern with keeping it there is now you risk 50 some odd people see you stand on the throne, that the King was still sitting in.

    I would change it from behind the throne, to just a hushed conversation and ask if there is a way to escape...because it would look rather suspicious that you knew of a passage way there.

    No worries, but how are you anticipating that developing?

    Nikki i think it might also be worth keeping a Gazeteer of various things that develop? E.g.

    Details about the various PCs can be kept up to date by each player in their OOC roster.

    King Trevor - Now long dead, established Hubris and The Pale 1000 years ago.
    King ? - the current king and descendent of Trevor the founding regent.
    Marshall Belliog - The king's Marshall at Hubris, responsible for the army, and the king's security.
    Garath - the king's throne guard.

    Camabet the Carpenter - Hubris' foremost carpenter. Lives near Cornelius off the market place

    Home to:

    Princess Zella

    Chambers:
    Great outer wall - withe several gatehouses.

    The Court / Throne room - large court and counsel hall. Golden throne at one end on a raised dais. Secret escape tunnel behind the throne (button on throne opens it).

    The Pale Chamber - where the great gem lies now cracked and useless. The Pale was a magical protective barrier that kept the wilds out(?). It gave a blue shimmer. With it gone, the yellow sun is now blinding for the people of Hubris.


    Market Place
    Vibrant, lots of stalls. Saturdays.

    The Marches
    Wilds, woodlands, outlying meadows, pastures and fields around Hubris and (formerly) within the Pale.

    Is my latest post (#19) correct in not acting for anybody?

    I want Thadar to be panicking, but I'm not all together sure how it appears he (I normally role play as an Astartes, they don't really panic)
