View Full Version : Medieval Ascension

Guitar on my wall
Waiting to be played:
Donít you know that if you start believing that you can play your own tone,
All on your own,
That nothing will ever be the same?

The birds will keep singing,
From Sunrise to Sunset,
Colors will vibrate
With the bees on their flowers
Buzzing with magic in the most magical of hours.

Tell me, can you hear them?
The muses of the night,
They tell us where to go,
Where the Owls take flight.
They told me the Answer is in the Moonlight.

My heartstrings are ringing
An instrumental new tune,
As I breathe with the dolphins and
Fly with the squirrels,
Remembering the magic in the past, the present, and that which is coming soon.

This poem was very well written!! I love your use of imagery, it definitely took me away from reality for the moment. One of my favorite things about the poem is in stanza three, when you capitalized "Answer" as if it was its own being. I would love to hear your reasons for doing so. Keep up the great writing!
