Welcome to the Roleplaying section of Fantascize!

For those of you who don't know what roleplaying, or RP, is let me explain. RPing is where you act out a character that you created (or that you love from a story/show) and interact with other member's characters in certain settings. It's writing a story but you're not the sole author. Think of being an actor in a improve show, you're given the basic concept then you just run with it however your imagination wants to go.

There does need to be a few rules though, and I hope that everyone understands and follows them:

1) Please keep this at a R or lower standard. This allows some adult material, adult themes, adult activity, hard language, violence, nudity, drug abuse, or other elements. However, we do not want pure out sex and pornography showing. Those types of stories should be kept to PMs or messengers elsewhere.

2) Please be respectful. Remember not everyone is going to like the same things you do. Do not insult someone else when they post that they are looking for a fan fiction of a story/movie you do not like, or a genre you are not looking to write.

3) Please post in a timely manner. This is less of a law and more of a polite rule of thumb. If you are roleplaying with someone please post regularly, and if you are going to need to take a break (vacation, homework, no internet) please attempt to let your RP partner know, so they do not think that you abandoned them.

4) Use the sub sections appropriately. Please use the "Interests" and "OOC" sections for what they're meant for.
The Interests section is where you will post what you are currently seeking in an RP/RP partner, or find someone else that is also seeking that.

The OOC section is meant for once you have a group of people who are interested in your story, you will discuss any possible questions or plot development here.

5) If someone is breaking a rule, or being abusive please let me know. I can't catch everything, but by letting me know I can try to catch most of the problems

Have fun!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

I posted this earlier in the movie section but this might be an even better forum.

I'm writing from a small production company in Gothenburg, Sweden and we are in the middle of our Kickstarter campaign for our Numenera sci-fi movie that we're trying to finish.

We'd love your support so please check out our trailer and KS campaign and let us know what you think!
